Free Vector Twitter “Follow Me” Badges

12

I was trying to look for some nice Twitter follow me badges/buttons the other day but couldn’t find some good ones. There are hordes of them Twitter badges, buttons and icons around, some are cute, funny, strange and there are some nice ones too, but I just couldn’t find the right one I’d like to use. So I decided to create some new ones including the one that I am using right now for this site plus one special Christmas Twitter follow me badge.

A total of  seven twitter badges/buttons are included in this set that you can use to tell everyone visiting your site “Hey, I’m on Twitter… Follow me!”, which hopefully are attractive enough for them to notice.

Aside from the vector source file I’m including for download, I also created transparent PNG files in two variant sizes, 150 and 200 pixel wide badges that you can use straight from the can, upload in your server and link up.

Copyright reminder: You may freely download and use all of these graphics, but please do not redistribute the original source files on your website by uploading it to your server or other site. All you have to do is link to this post if you want to share it with your readers and they can download the files from links on this site. Thank you.

Hi Buuklvr81. The mediafire links are working fine. It might be some access problem blocking mediafire in your area. I have provided another set of links from 4shared. Let me know if you will still have trouble downloading the files from the new links and I will try to email them directly to you. Thanks.

These look fantastic! I’d like to put one Follow me badge on my wordpress.org blog but don’t know how to do it…I download the files (which for some reason open up with iTunes) and then I don’t really know what to do with them. How do I make one these badges my “Follow Me” button?

Hi Max. You can use the PNG files for your twitter follow me button. Upload one via ftp to your server, in a folder where you can easily refer its url. Add a
text widget to your sidebar. Inside that text widget, you can write your small html code like this:

    <a href="http://www.twitter.com/your-twitter-account"><img src="http://www.yourwebsite.com/folder-and-filename-of-your-twitter-button.png" width="image-width-in-pixel" height="image-height-in-pixel" alt="Follow me on Twitter"></a>

Save and reload your blog. That’s it. Hope that helps.

    Thanks for dropping by.

Hey Graphire, sorry to disturb again…

I put your code in the text widget and the button works well but I don’t get the image. I only have a clickable “Follow Me On Twitter” sentence which effectively takes users to my page.

Do you have any idea of how to make the icon appear?

    Sorry and thanks again!
