I have been longing to post some InDesign templates here in our site. Finally, I was able to finish two. These are layouts from previous projects that I did before. We have here a medical or health care center brochure and a coffee shop menu.
These are rejected layouts from some of the studies I presented to my clients, so design exclusivity remains with me. In as much as I hate seeing good designs like these go to waste, I have decided to share them with you. I am also aware that I could re-use these designs for other similar projects in the future, but I don’t normally do that. I always like to start a project fresh and not just some rehash from the trash. No, I’m not referring to these designs as trash
. Look at the preview images below, and tell me if they look like trash.
Download and use these templates for your personal or commercial projects. I am using Adobe InDesign CS4 for Windows, so the included .indd file is in CS4. However, I also included an InDesign Interchange (.inx) file in case you have CS3 or you are using an Apple Mac.
Here are the preview of the two templates. Download links are provided below. Enjoy.

Hi, your medical centre free InDesign template looks great but unfortunately it won’t download? I’ve tried a couple of times but it gives a message saying unable to download either site unavailable, etc. What a pity, it looked good too.
Regards, LM

I tried one more time. It worked! Thank you.

I had no problem downloading, but I’ not sure what to do with a .rar file. Do I need a special program to run it?
Regards,
Andrea
Graphire on November 2, 2009
Hi Andrea, you can extract rar files by using a freeware (open source) program called 7-zip which you can download from this link 7-zip download. Alternatively, you can also use the more popular WinRAR program and use it for 40 days on trial period. WinRAR can be downloaded from this link, WinRAR download.

Very professiona templates, thanks for sharing them. I know that I need to open the RAR files with Winrar or similar programme but assume the indd files would open automatically in Indesign but did not see them included.
Graphire on December 1, 2009
Hi Caspar. Both archive (rar) files include .indd and .inx InDesign Files. Please check again. You can open either one in InDesign CS4. But if you use CS3 (Mac or PC) please use the INX file. Thanks.

I love that you have shared so many templates and thank you for that. Much appreciated! One thing though, how do I use the magazine design templates on my iPad. The files open and extract just fine, it is the actual designing/ editing on the iPad that is the problem. Please help!
Graphire on September 10, 2012
Hi Shane. AFAIK, there are still no InDesign app for ipad. You can however publish digital content for iPads and other mobile devices using the Digital Publishing Suite component released by Adobe for InDesign.

Hello, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog site in Chrome, it looks fine but when opening in
Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
Other then that, excellent blog!
Graphire on March 21, 2013
Works fine on IE and all browsers. Better check it again. At any rate, thanks for the heads up.
