Previously I shared the first set consisting of eight 3D models of buildings and houses. Now here’s set two consisting of the next eight 3D models.

Same with the previous set, set 2 includes 8 detailed 3D models from a diverse building-type range. All elements of buildings are customizable. Thus, modifying them for variations is easy and quick.

These 3D-models are provided in various formats like Cinema4D (version 7 and higher), Lightwave (Version 6 and higher), OBJ, DXF, and 3DS with all texture files included.

Time to share once more some 3d freebies. Set 1 includes 8 different kinds 3d trees and plants, with various polygonal counts, from low to high.

Before we proceed to our free 3d models, let me share with you some basic 3d visualization tips for all 3D artists and users:

1. Use Your Imagination!

The only way to make a plan more realistic is through an architect’s interpretation of the plan that the clients wants to have. In other words, as 3d artists, you have to “Picture out!” exactly what the building or establishment will look like once the construction is done. It is best that you keep a close communication with you clients to make sure that you understand each other’s interpretation of the architectural drawings. Always expose yourself to the different styles and themes of the type of work you are doing.

2. “Be the One!”

You should be in control of your architectural visualizations, the tools are only secondary. You should visualize the outcome of what you are doing. Whatever the spec of your computer is, you as the artist have the full control of what your architectural visualization will look in the end. The more detailed your architectural visualization is, the more real it will look to the naked eye. Be patient and always remember, ” Let the tools be the helper and your mind will be the organizer.”

3. Practice makes Perfect

Compare your architectural visualization work with other worthy 3d visualization works; the plain brilliant visualizations will be your guage as to how far you’ve improved. Train your mind everyday, this way would gradually improve your skills subconsciously. Challenge yourself constantly and be extremely critical of your work.

These tips are very simple yet these are the fundamental. Creating an impressive 3d architectural visualization work will primarily depend on your creativity, work attitude, and your passion to constantly improve together with the advancement of technology.
