A few days ago I shared with you 26 gorgeous wood textures. Now, aside from wood, here are some paper images most designers these days love to use as texture or background. Included in this set are 18 high resolution paper textures of old papers and notes, crumpled papers, handmade recycled paper images, etc., that you can use as backgrounds for your web designs, brochures, scrapbooks and many more.

I’m planning to create more paper textures next time as I also use a lot of these on my designs. It’s been a while since I last shared some free textures here. Well it’s about time to share some more free texture images. What we have here are 45 high resolution texture images of various grunge concrete plastered walls that you can use for a lot of your print or web design projects. These are mixed textures of old walls with some paint chipping off, stained, dirty and definitely grungy walls. I know these walls have a lot of nostalgic stories to tell. Just by looking at it, you’ll feel a mixed feeling of pain, sadness and certain longing from the past. Ok, let’s cut the drama.

Some of these textures I took myself, while others were collected from friends and other sources. But definitely, these are all absolutely free with no usage restrictions. I find these texture images useful as backgrounds, mostly when doing cover designs. Instead of just having some colored background, you can make it more interesting by adding subtle grungy textures.
